I’m a certified fitness professional, a wife, and a weight loss success story offering personalized, one-on-one online coaching for woman who need to balance a demanding schedule with getting real results. My programs guide you through easy steps for transforming your health and fitness problems, all without fad diets, cleanses, or unrealistic workout regimens. Instead, I’ll help you craft a lifestyle that reflects your personality, goals, and values.

Eight years ago, I found that I was able to lose one-third of my bodyweight (about 50 pounds) through sensible, gradual habits that became a way of life. I transitioned from my teaching career to full-time personal training and nutrition coaching, because I believe so strongly that these habits can become part of anyone’s life to create real and lasting results.

My clients are often women who have spent years investing in their educations, their careers, and their families, while health and fitness habits have been put on the back burner. Having maintained my 50-pound weight loss for eight years, I understand how easy it is to not only get busy and distracted, but also drown in the confusion of fad workouts and diet nonsense.

With a dose of extra structure and support from me, my coaching clients have learned to love exercise, have dropped jean sizes to waistlines they thought were gone forever, and have learned to navigate the challenges of business travel, holidays, and client dinners.

Through the National Academy of Sports Medicine and the American Council on Exercise, I’m a Certified Personal Trainer, Fitness Nutrition Specialist, Women’s Fitness Specialist, and Therapeutic Exercise Specialist.   • “Healthy Lifestyles” – I want to lose 20-50 pounds for both aesthetic and health reasons. I feel I’ve lost focus on myself, and I think my health and confidence are suffering. My exercise habits are irregular or non-existent, and I don’t feel totally in control of my food choices. I know I could make some changes, but I need structure, accountability, and guidance to help me overcome obstacles like busy-ness and stress. Even if I don’t have a gym membership, I’m willing to get one (or get a few basic pieces of equipment for my home). I’m ready for a new adventure and to focus on me again!
  • “Stronger Every Day” – I am fairly active and in “pretty good shape” but I feel weak. I just don’t know what to do when I go to the gym, so I end up getting on the treadmill or wandering from machine to machine, so I’m not really making progress. I could probably lose a few pounds, but I would also be perfectly happy if I didn’t, as long as I look (and feel) feminine, strong, and confident. I need someone to write workout programs for me and advise me on form, so that I can safely progress to an exceptional level of strength with exercises like push-ups, pull-ups, and barbell lifting. I’m prepared to follow specific exercise programming and be consistent in crushing my goals!
  • “Photoshoot Ready” – I am fairly active and in “pretty good shape,” but I want to look my absolute best for my wedding/photoshoot/beach vacation – without starving myself or crashing my metabolism. I think I only have 5-10 pounds to lose, but it’s important to me that – whatever the scale says – I look slim, toned, lean, and beautiful. I am willing and prepared to make the changes necessary to follow a specific workout program and adhere to nutritional protocols that focus on fat loss, with or without a gym membership.
